How we protect your data

This notice is being updated as Vilab's new packages are added. We recommend that it be reviewed by a lawyer specialized in data protection in Mexico before it is treated as a final version.
Data we may collect
We may request your first name, last name, phone number, email address, billing details, scheduling preferences, data needed to coordinate your tests and minimal technical browser data for transaction security. When you choose a package (Vilab Essential, Comprehensive or Advanced) we may also collect answers to health questionnaires and medical history needed to guide you to the right service.
Consent for health data
Before you share information about your health (medical history, risk factors, questionnaire answers or test results), we will ask for your express consent to process it, as it is sensitive personal data under applicable Mexican law. You may refuse to share this information, although this may limit our ability to guide you to the most suitable package.
Purposes
We use your data to handle requests, schedule check-ups, process purchases, follow up on your services, send confirmations, comply with administrative obligations and improve the service experience.
Payments with Openpay
Card payments are processed through Openpay as the payment gateway. When you pay, Openpay tokenizes the card data and Vilab does not store the full card number or the CVV. We may keep transaction identifiers, charge status, amount, package purchased and the contact details needed to confirm the service.
Transfers and processors
We may share data with providers that help us operate the service, including Openpay for payment processing, laboratories, communication tools, technical support and authorities when there is an applicable legal obligation.
Security
We apply reasonable administrative, technical and organizational security measures. Openpay private keys are used only on the server and payments are made over HTTPS.
ARCO rights
You may request access, rectification, cancellation or opposition to the processing of your data, and withdraw your consent where applicable, by contacting us by phone or through Vilab's official support channels.
