Preparation recommendations
- Fast for 8 hours before the test (still water only).
- The day before, avoid fried, fatty or unusual foods.
- Stop vitamin and mineral supplements 3 days before the test.
- Do not stop any medication prescribed by your doctor without their approval.
- Avoid intense exercise 2 to 3 days beforehand and do not drink alcohol.
- For sex hormones (LH, FSH, estradiol) we recommend giving the sample between day 2 and 5 of the menstrual cycle. For the other markers there is no strict cycle date.
